Exhibitor Factsheet
The 2010 Exhibit will be held May 5 and May 6, 2010 at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, WI

How much does it cost to exhibit?

  • If a signed contract with full payment is postmarked by February 17, 2010:
    • Corporate Partner Fee for Standard Booth is $400
    • Non-Corporate Partner Fee for Standard Booth is $475
      • If a signed contract with full payment is postmarked after February 17, 2010:
        • Corporate Partner Fee for Standard Booth is $500
        • Non-Corporate Partner Fee for Standard Booth is $600
What is Included in the Exhibit Fee?
  • All booths are 8' x 10' and include back and side drapes in black and silver. Each booth will include a company identification sign, a 8 foot skirted table, 2 chairs and a wastebasket. All exhibitor areas are carpeted. There is free parking at the Osthoff Resort. WHIMA Corporate Partners receive a discount on exhibit space costs and a free 1/4 page display ad in the annual conference program.
  • Each exhibitor receives a welcome package.
  • Each exhibitor receives two exhibit hall passes to invite clients to the exhibit grand opening on Wednesday.
  • Each exhibitor is recognized on WHIMA's web site with a "hot connection" to their company web site.
  • Each exhibitor receives a database listing of conference attendees for promotion prior to the show, advertising and follow-up at the close of the show.
  • Each exhibitor receives invitations to sponsor & participate in the WHIMA party.

Attendees will be interested in:

*Information technology *Medical transcription and dictation services * Electronic medical record computer hardware or software applications for hospitals, physician practices, cancer registries, home health, and long term care * Network and database solutions * Copiers and printers * Voice recognition systems * Record storage and management systems * Coding technology * Document management, scanning and imaging products * HIM consulting services * Compliance and benchmarking tools * Bar coding and scanning applications * Professional books and references * Release of information services * Education and training.

Special refreshment breaks will be scheduled in the morning and afternoon in the exhibit area to facilitate maximum traffic flow.

The Silent Auction is a traditional favorite of convention attendees. The auction is held in the exhibit area with proceeds to benefit the WHIMA Scholarship Program. Vendors are invited to submit items for the silent auction. The items will be on display in the exhibit hall. Scroll down for a form to complete for your donation to the Silent Auction.

There will be a Grand Opening of the Exhibit Hall on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.

What about Other Opportunities to Promote My Company and Products and Services?

Companies can purchase 15-minute time slots for presentations on new products & services.  An Innovation Theater will be offered on May 6 to give  companies added exposure and the opportunities to target customers for a special presentation of your products and services.  The fees are as follows:

  • $150 for corporate partners with payment & contract received by 02/17/10
  • $200 for non-corporate partners with payment & contract received by 02/17/10 

What about Sponsorships?

WHIMA is pleased to offer companies, organizations and individuals the opportunity to promote their product (s) and to increase their visibility. All sponsorships and donations will be recognized in pre-conference marketing materials, during the Opening Session and in the final conference program. Platinum Level Sponsors will be the exclusive sponsor at the selected event. They may provide a marketing flyer for insertion in the program materials and will receive complimentary unlimited Job Bank postings on the WHIMA web site for 3 months ($300 value). Gold Level Sponsors will be featured in WHIMA's electronic newsletter with company logo and link.
