WISCONSIN HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION

About Us
Wisconsin Community of Practice (CoP)
What are CoPs?
CoP is short for Communities of Practice. It is an on-line networking tool for members with common interests to communicate, ask questions, share best practices, and keep up-to-date on the latest in health information (HIM) news.

Wisconsin CoP
WHIMA has a CoP for Wisconsin members to keep you informed about the association and changes in legislation and regulations. The WHIMA CoP provides resources and an opportunity for members to interact with other members.

How do you participate in a CoP?
  • Visit the AHIMA CoP Homepage

  • Enter your member ID and your last name in lower case letters as your "Password" (if this is your first visit)

  • Select the Join/Visit Communities (the passport icon on the toolbar)

  • Select a letter of the alphabet or "All" for a listing of the CoPs

  • To join the Wisconsin CoP, select the letter "G" for Geographic CoPs (the states) and scroll to Geographic: Wisconsin

Communities of Practice (CoPs) can help you solve a problem, keep you posted on the latest professional information, and share ideas.
