I registered for the Workshop when it was scheduled for March 3, 2022. I am not able to attend on October 28, 2022. Will I get a refund?
Yes, those that registered for the Workshop on March 3, 2022 and can’t attend the Workshop on October 28, 2022 will receive a full refund if the refund request is submitted by February 28, 2022.
Requests for refunds for this reason only must be submitted by February 28, 2022.

I was registered for the Workshop when it was scheduled for March 3, 2022. Now that the Workshop has been postponed to October 28, 2022, what will happen to my registration?
You do not need to do anything regarding your registration.
You continue to be registered for the in-person Workshop on October 28, 2022.
Will the ROI Workshop be offered virtually in addition to being in-person?
No, at this time the ROI Workshop is only being offered as an in-person education event. In 2021, WHIMA found that the ROI Workshop was better suited for an in-person meeting versus a virtual one. WHIMA will continuously monitor the impact of COVID on the in-person Workshop and make adjustments as deemed indicated.
What if I register and WHIMA decides to cancel the in-person meeting? Will I receive a refund?
If the in-person Workshop is canceled, WHIMA will make every effort to ensure one of the following occurs. If WHIMA is not able to deliver the education in one of these formats, then a refund will be provided.
Reschedule the in-person Workshop.
Reschedule the Workshop to a live, virtual format.
Transition to a virtual event with pre-recorded sessions.
What safety measures will be taken to minimize the exposure to COVID?
The following safety measures will be in place:
• On the event website, WHIMA asks people not to attend the event if they have been directly exposed to someone with COVID before the event or are experiencing COVID symptoms.
• Encourage wearing of masks.
• Sanitizing stations.
• Social distancing at tables.
• Increased cleaning protocols by Glacier Canyon.

How do I receive my CE credit?
Within a week after the meeting, all paid attendees will receive an email with a link to the online evaluation. After completing the evaluation, you can download your CE form.
Does AAPC recognize AHIMA CEUs?
CEUs are accepted from programs sponsored by AHIMA national offices and the state or regional AHIMA branches.
One hour of instruction is worth one CEU. A certificate of attendance or completion is necessary to show participation.
What is the dress code?
Business Casual. As it is difficult to regulate room temperatures for all attendees, it is recommended that one dress in layers, i.e. sweater.
Will paper handouts be available at the meeting?
Paper handouts WILL NOT be available at the meeting. You have the option to view or print before or after the meeting. You will receive the link to the handouts in your confirmation email.
