Throughout her studies in the Health Information Management Technology program at Chippewa Valley Technical College, Karla distinguished herself through academic excellence, active leadership, and dedication to advancing the profession. As President of the HIMT Club and WHIMA Student Ambassador, she led fundraising and community service initiatives, organized student-focused events, presented at professional conferences, and served as a strong advocate for fellow students. Her instructors praised her enthusiasm for learning, professionalism, and commitment to making a positive impact on the future of health information management.
