WHIMA is pleased to announce that Gloria Madison, MS, RHIA, CHDA, CHTS-IM, Health Information Technology Program Director and Instructor at Moraine Park Technical College, was awarded the 2025 WHIMA Educator Award at the WHIMA Annual Conference Awards Reception on May 20, 2025.
Gloria has made a profound impact on the health information profession through her exceptional teaching, curriculum leadership, and unwavering commitment to student success.
Known for setting high standards while providing strong support, Gloria has inspired generations of Health Information Technology (HIT) professionals across Wisconsin. Her influence reaches beyond the classroom through her volunteer work with CAHIIM and her ongoing contributions to the statewide HIT curriculum.
A mentor, advocate, and role model, Gloria’s legacy is reflected in the many professionals she has guided, including former students who now lead in the field themselves. WHIMA is proud to recognize her outstanding dedication to preparing the next generation of HIM professionals.
