Section 510: Congress is beginning its Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27) budget process, and AHIMA is continuing to advocate for the repeal of Section 510, the ban on a unique patient identifier, in the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (Labor-HHS) appropriations bill.
