We are excited to invite Wisconsin Health Information (HI) Managers and Directors to participate in a new monthly virtual roundtable focused on fostering collaboration and addressing shared challenges. These 50-minute sessions will provide a platform to discuss topics such as operationalizing state and federal regulations, enhancing data interoperability between our organizations, and sharing ideas to address common challenges such as developing workforce education and retention strategies. By connecting with peers across the state, participants will exchange insights, share best practices, and collectively navigate the dynamic landscape of health information. Your voluntary involvement will contribute to a stronger, more informed HI community dedicated to improving patient, provider, and staff experience.
Meetings will be hosted on the WHIMA Platform but will be led independently by HI leaders. Topics can and will often change from month to month. The value of these connections will be driven by the level of participation by you, the HI leaders in Wisconsin. We all participate in similar groups, but this one will focus on Wisconsin and on HI issues.
If you are interested in participating in this roundtable, provide us with your contact information here.
We can then gauge the level of participation and make sure the invite is sent to the right leaders. A poll will be sent to all who respond to determine the best day/time for the standing meetings.
Please contact the Executive Office at executiveoffice@whima.org with questions.
