Well, COVID did it again! Due to increasing numbers of the Delta variant across the state, WHIMA made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s in-person Fall Conference. However, you can still create “Quality Connections” on October 7th and 8th by attending the live-virtual conference!

Join fellow WHIMA members in 2 days of virtual learning as you embark on Strengthening your Mental Flexibility and Resilience with Amy Dee; explore the 2022 I-10 CM & PCS, Guidelines and MCC/CC Updates  with Sheila Goethel; join Julie Hable & a panel of HIM professionals as they discuss the challenges of Recruiting in HIM; gain knowledge on workforce Management/Trends from AHIMA’s Board of Director, Christine Williams; modernize your CDI Program for Quality Outcomes with Geoff New; and attend both of Chris Spranger’s sessions on Data Analytics to include Microsoft Excel skills. Thinking “All sounds great, but I am a student is there anything for me?” YES! Join Julie Larsen as she goes over everything from just starting off your HIM career to what resources/certifications would best fit your path. She will leave you feeling empowered and ready to expand your knowledge in HIM.
