Summer in Wisconsin is just fantastic, and I hope that you are all able to get outside and enjoy all the great things our beautiful state has to offer, be it a farmers market, majestic state parks, one of the many lakes, or sight-seeing the beautiful Wisconsin countryside!

It is an honor and privilege to lead WHIMA, one of the strongest Component Associations (CA) in the country.  Our strength and reputation are a tribute to all of you, the members and volunteers that have given of your time and talents to give back to an association that has given us so much.  I am proud to represent the state of Wisconsin at the AHIMA House of Delegates.

During the AHIMA Leadership Symposium in June, it was clear to Bryanna Schoeffel, President-Elect, and me that AHIMA values and respects WHIMA and even looks to us for best practices and strong advocacy.

You should be proud of all that we have accomplished, and I look forward to continuing the strong legacy we have built together while adding value and meaning for our members for years to come.  The Board of Directors will be rolling out a new strategic plan incorporating AHIMA’s strategic outcomes, and we are excited to continue the great work while incorporating new ideas and strategies to recruit, engage and retain members well into the future.

Again, it is a privilege and honor to serve beside you in our great state of Wisconsin!

Heather Pinske, MBA, RHIA
